≈Welcome to the Future,
Blue Print 3
Ay count me in
Find me a nice soft place to land
I'm so high
Find me a place to land,
Yeah right there,

I'm so tomorrow,
The Audemars are yesterday,
Which means your on time delay,
So even if I slow it doooown,
My sound is fast forward, hold up
I'm just a runway show
But I wear this on my plane in my runway clothes,
Cashmere sweats they come out next year
But these my last year sweats,
And my hoe so sick, your new chick cant fuck with my old bitch,
And you know this shit,
I'm professional, they know this is,
I just may let you borrow this,
This the blueprint nigga follow this,
This what what tomorrow is,
Welcome to tomorrow bitch,

[Drake - Chorus]
Whatever you about to discover we off that
You about to tell her you love her we off that,
Always wanna fight in the club and we off that,
But you can’t bring the future back,
Ya'll steady chasing the fame we off that,
Oversized clothes and chains we off that,
Nigga still making it rain and we off that,
Cos you can’t bring the future back,
Tell n-ggas top get off me,
Cris we off that,
Timbs we off that,
Rims we off that,
[Jay-Z]
Yeah We off that is you still on that,
If you still making money cos we still on that,

This ain’t black versus white my nigga we off that,
Please tell Bill O Reilly to fall back,
Tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my balls,
Its 2010 not 1864 ,
Ah yeah we come so far,
So I drive around town hard top and its off
Ah and my Tribeca loft with my high brow art
And my high yellow broad
Ah and my dark skin sis and my best white mate
Say whats up to to Chris,
Ah, hows that for a mix,
Got a black president,
Got green presidents,
Blueprints in my white Ipod,
Black diamonds in my Jesus piece, My God,
Ah we aint tripping off that,
Its a Benetton ad, nigga been up off that

[Chorus]

[Jay-Z]
I dont give a fidduuck, abiddout the widday,
You used to move, what you used to do,
And I dont give a fidduuck abiddout the bitches
That you used to screw
What your future do,
And we don’t really care what you used to say,
Unless that affects your future pay,
Im on the practice field running two a day,
So I don’t drop the ball when its threw my way,
So I don’t a fidduck abiddout the sh-t that
You probably did,
Who you probably is,
The only time I deal in past tense
Is I’m past rims,
And I’m past tints,
If you driving it I drove it,
You got it cos I sold it,
You copped it and I bought it back,
And we don’t give a fidduck nigga we off that.

When: Thursday, July 21, 2011
4:00 PM ET

When renowned designer and computer scientist John Maeda was tapped to be president of the celebrated Rhode Island School of Design in 2008, he went from being a professor -- free to speak his mind against "the man" -- to being "the man." Asked if he has stopped designing, Maeda replied (via Twitter) "I'm designing how to talk about/with/for our #RISD community." Maeda's creative nature makes him a different sort of leader – one that prizes honest critique and learning how to "productively fail."
In this talk, with Becky Bermont, co-author of his new book Redesigning Leadership, he uses Perspectives from his various backgrounds – as an artist and designer, a technologist, and a professor – to discuss leadership lessons he's learned since taking the helm months before the Great Recession. Much of the focus of their discussion is on the limits of using social media in the new, networked organization.
In this DesignCast you will:

  • Gain valuable insight from an industry legend into what the future of design and technology will look like

  • Learn tips and tricks on how to prepare yourself and your team for an ever-evolving design landscape

  • Hear advice on effective team building and leadership from Maeda and Becky Bermont

  • Discover new ways to successfully communicate your design skills in a progressively multi-media world

  • And uncover Maeda's tips for what he likes to call "productively fail "

  • About the Presenters:

John Maeda–President, Rhode Island School of Design
John Maeda is a world-renowned artist, graphic designer, computer scientist and educator whose career reflects his philosophy of humanizing technology. For more than a decade, he has worked to integrate technology, education and the arts into a 21stcentury synthesis of creativity and innovation. A recipient of the National Design Award and represented in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Maeda became president of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in June 2008.

A former professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Maeda taught media arts and sciences there for 12 years and served as associate director of research at the MIT Media Lab. Maeda's early work redefined the use of electronic media as a tool for expression by combining skilled computer programming with sensitivity to traditional artistic concerns. He has published four books including The Laws of Simplicity, now translated into 14 languages. His new book written with Becky Bermont, Redesigning Leadership, expands on his micro-posts on leadership and innovation as @johnmaeda on Twitter. In 2008 Maeda was named one of the 75 most influential people of the 21st century by Esquire magazine and in 2010 he was called the "Steve Jobs of academia" by Forbes magazine.

Becky leads the Media + Partners group at the Rhode Island School of Design, which seeks to create compelling external communications and relationships to strengthen RISD's reputation in the world-at-large. Media + Partners designs, produces, and maintains RISD's print, online and video communications vehicles, and leads communication efforts within the College and Museum. The team also forges partnerships with a network of innovative corporations and nonprofit organizations, including Target, GAP, and Toshiba, to create positive and powerful educational experiences for students.

    ≈Boo-ya baby!!!
    No Big ignorant war
No fake banner or applause cue cards in the background
No loud embarrassing uneducated rhetoric 2 the rest of the peeps that share living space w/ us on this beautiful earth. Most of all thou, when it came to what was (supposedly) most important to us after 2001: ~there was NO FRONTIN'.....

Mentioning it, only when the task was completed, and including proof to show the world, instead of preaching about it. that "naive" candidate:" JUST got the job done.
    Plain and simple. †Amen
≈So I am gonna RT one of my favorite people here because I couldn't have said it betta ma-self: "I don't wanna hear one more negative word about Obama or Spoelstra...EVER."

    Well said Comadre.

    Their in Cartagena?

Posted by Mj Monk on 11:14:00 AM
    Love Anthropologie! I do.

I've actually never bought a shred of clothing from them, but I always spend more than I should on their hardware. Different apartments....Different cities.

So when I got their catalog for this month, I really thought, the fact that it is all shot, in what is my favorite city in Colombia really brought me a smile.

In my opinion, following Paris, Cartagena is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

    The catalog's photos are stunning :^}
